Hyderabad: Two persons from Delhi were arrested for conning a city-based lady to the tune of Rs 32 lakh on the appearance of offering her strong money as prize cash through internet shopping, police said on Wednesday.
Cyber Crime Police captured Mohammed Javed and Jiyauddin Saifi on Saturday in the wake of following them in New Delhi and conveyed them to Hyderabad on travel warrant, a discharge from Hyderabad Police said. Police seized net money of Rs 1.65 lakh, one portable PC and cellular telephones from their ownership.
As per the discharge, the two blamed swindled a few persons in numerous parts of the nation through method for fake protection strategy restorations and enjoying digital fakes.
The lady had held up a grumbling on June 16 with Cyber Crime Police and expressed that in June a year ago she got telephone calls educating her that she has won prize cash of Rs 53 lakh and demanded her to assert the prize cash in the wake of paying sums towards preparing expenses, charges and different charges.
Trusting the other party's rendition, she has stored aggregate sum of Rs 32,99,110 in various financial balances gave by them. After the sum was stored, they didn't react to her calls. She understood that she was conned and in this manner held up the protestation.
